Sherer Manufacturing was founded on August 1, 1998 by Carl Sherer and David E. Hartzell as a result of the sale of Hughes Manufacturing, Inc. Previously, the HVAC products were a department within Hughes. When Hughes was sold the HVAC department was spun-off as Sherer Manufacturing, Inc.

Sherer distributes their products through leading HVAC wholesalers in the Southeast U.S. We currently occupy two manufacturing facilities with over 90,000 square foot total. We are located in Clearwater, Florida with approximately 140 employees.
